Air quality in Rajasthan worsened on Saturday morning, with Bhiwadi's AQI exceeding 300 and Jaipur, Alwar, and Bikaner recording levels between 200 and 300.
Air pollution levels in Rajasthan have risen significantly ahead of the Diwali festival. On Saturday morning, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Bhiwadi crossed the 300 mark, indicating severe pollution levels.
The deteriorating air quality is not limited to Bhiwadi alone. Neighboring districts and major cities are also facing poor air conditions. In Jaipur and Alwar, the AQI remained within the range of 200 to 300, while Bikaner also reported similar levels of pollution.
This early spike in pollution has raised concerns among residents, as the Diwali season is traditionally associated with increased air quality issues due to fireworks and other activities. The current situation suggests that the state may face a challenging period regarding air quality in the coming days.
