Ujjain's real estate market has seen a significant surge, with the government collecting Rs 247.30 crore in registration revenue from April to October. This marks a growth of Rs 6.88 crore compared to the same period last year.

The real estate sector in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, is experiencing a notable upswing, driven by a high volume of property transactions. Between April and October, a total of 40,644 property documents were registered in the city.

This surge in activity has translated into substantial revenue for the state government. Officials reported that the registration of these documents generated a total of Rs 247.30 crore in revenue for the exchequer during the seven-month period.

The current financial performance shows a positive trend compared to the previous year. The revenue collected this year is higher by Rs 6.88 crore than the amount recorded in the same period last year, indicating sustained demand in the local property market.

Market observers note that this momentum is expected to continue, with significant registration activity anticipated around the upcoming Dhanteras festival, a traditional time for property purchases in India.
