In the Ashabari attack, Tripura police have detained three additional suspects and remanded a woman in custody until November 13.
Earlier this week, police in Tripura responded to a violent incident in the village of Ashabari that left several people injured. Following a thorough investigation, authorities have now detained three additional suspects believed to be involved in the attack.
The three men were apprehended by the Tripura Police Special Operations Unit after a coordinated raid on their residences. Their identities have not yet been released pending further verification.
In addition, a woman has been remanded in custody until November 13 on charges related to the assault. She is currently held at the Tripura Central Jail under the supervision of the local magistrate.
Police officials said the arrests are part of a broader probe into the motives behind the attack, which authorities suspect may have been politically or communal in nature. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
