The third season of the thriller series ‘Black Snow’ will see Travis Fimmel back in the lead role, with production moving to Cairns, Australia, and a release planned for later this year.
The upcoming third installment of the crime‑thriller ‘Black Snow’ has been confirmed for release later this year. Production details indicate that the series will continue its high‑octane storytelling with a fresh batch of episodes slated for the coming months.
Lead actor Travis Fimmel is set to reprise his central character, marking his return after a hiatus from the show. Alongside Fimmel, several members of the original ensemble are expected to appear, though the full cast list has not been disclosed.
Filming for the new season has relocated to Cairns in Queensland, Australia, a departure from previous locations. The choice of Cairns is attributed to its diverse landscapes, which the producers say will enhance the series' visual palette and support new plot developments.
Industry observers anticipate that the combination of Fimmel’s star power and the exotic Australian backdrop will boost viewership both domestically and internationally, as the series continues to stream on its established platform.
