A 17‑year‑old boy from Dhesiyan Kahna village in Jalandhar district died when his motorcycle hit a sewage pipe lying on the road.

A tragic road accident occurred in the village of Dhesiyan Kahna, which falls under the Goraya police station in Jalandhar district, Punjab. The victim, a 17‑year‑old boy named Harmanveer, was riding his motorcycle when he struck a sewage pipe that was protruding onto the carriageway. The impact caused severe injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Local police arrived promptly and cordoned off the area. They have begun an investigation to determine why the pipe was exposed and whether any negligence contributed to the fatal collision. The incident has prompted calls for better road maintenance in the region.
