Pensioners Urged to Upload Income Certificates to Aadhaar by Dec 31

Under the Social Security Pension Scheme, beneficiaries such as old‑age, widow, single‑woman and disabled pensioners are now required to upload their income certificates to their Aadhaar cards before the physical verification process. The government has made the electronic upload mandatory to streamline verification and reduce paperwork. All eligible recipients must complete the upload by 31 December 2024. The move is expected to speed up pension disbursements and ensure that only those who meet income criteria receive the benefit. Officials have urged beneficiaries to use the official portal or the Aadhaar app to submit the scanned copies of their certificates.
