Pakistan’s Inter‑Services Intelligence (ISI) has announced a strategic shift to a multi‑camp approach, aiming to enhance its operational reach and flexibility across the country.
The Inter‑Services Intelligence agency of Pakistan has revealed a new operational framework that will see its activities spread across multiple camps nationwide. According to official statements, the multi‑camp strategy is designed to improve coordination, reduce response times, and allow for more specialized units to operate in key regions.
Sources say the change comes as part of a broader effort to modernise the agency’s structure and address evolving security challenges. The new setup will involve establishing satellite camps in strategic locations, each staffed with dedicated teams for intelligence gathering, analysis, and rapid deployment.
While the ISI has not disclosed specific details about the number or locations of the new camps, officials confirmed that the initiative will be implemented over the next several months. Analysts suggest that the move could enhance Pakistan’s capacity to monitor cross‑border threats and internal security risks more effectively.
The announcement was made during a press briefing in Islamabad, where senior ISI officials emphasized the importance of adaptability in today’s security environment. No immediate impact on existing operations was reported, but the shift is expected to reshape the agency’s operational dynamics in the near future.
