Meteorological authorities predict a drop of 1-2°C in minimum temperatures over the next four days, with night‑time lows reaching 10‑11°C in several cities of Madhya Pradesh.

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning that Madhya Pradesh will experience cooler nights following the Diwali celebrations. Over the next four days, minimum temperatures are expected to fall by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius. Night‑time lows could dip to as low as 10 to 11 degrees Celsius in cities such as Bhopal, Indore and Satna. Residents are advised to wear warm clothing and keep windows closed during the night to avoid discomfort. The forecast, released on Saturday by the department, highlights the need for extra caution in rural areas where heating options are limited.
