Minimum temperatures in Madhya Pradesh have dropped by up to 1.5 degrees, with Girwar recording 11.9°C. Bhopal and Indore also experienced a significant chill, though clear skies are expected during the festival season.

A noticeable increase in cold weather has gripped Madhya Pradesh as minimum temperatures across the state have fallen by up to 1.5 degrees Celsius. This sudden drop has intensified the chill during night hours, affecting several major districts and cities.

The coldest reading was recorded in Girwar, a town in the Shajapur district, where the mercury dipped to 11.9 degrees Celsius. This marks a significant decline in the region's usual winter temperatures, prompting residents to seek warmer clothing and heating measures.

In the state capital, Bhopal, the minimum temperature was recorded at 13.5 degrees Celsius, while Indoor saw a similar trend with temperatures hovering at 12.7 degrees. These figures indicate a broader pattern of cooling across the central part of the state.

Despite the sharp drop in overnight temperatures, meteorological forecasts suggest that the weather will remain clear during the upcoming festival season. This stable condition is expected to allow for smooth outdoor celebrations without the disruption of rain or fog.
