On Dhanteras, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated a free house registration drive in Karua village, Muraina, aiming to register 5 million homes across Madhya Pradesh.
On the auspicious day of Dhanteras, Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, launched a free house registration drive in Karua village of Muraina. The initiative allows villagers to obtain ownership titles for their homes at no cost.
The first phase of the program was rolled out in Muraina, where local residents were guided through the registration process by government officials. The effort is part of a larger state plan to formalise property records.
Madhya Pradesh’s government has set an ambitious target of registering 5 million houses statewide. The move is expected to improve land rights and facilitate access to credit for millions of families.
Officials say the campaign will also streamline future development projects and reduce disputes over property ownership.
