A sales stall has been set up within the Amritsar court complex to sell handicrafts made by prisoners, providing them with a market for their skills.
A new initiative has been launched in Amritsar to support the rehabilitation of prisoners by providing a market for their skills. A dedicated sales stall has been established within the court complex premises.
The stall features various handicraft items crafted by inmates during their incarceration. This move aims to encourage skill development and provide a sense of purpose to those in custody.
By placing the stall in a high-traffic area like the court complex, the administration hopes to increase visibility and sales of these products. The initiative serves as a bridge between the inmates' labor and the public market.
