Indian Railways has cancelled 26 round‑trip services of the Howrah‑Dehradun Express due to heavy fog, with a revised timetable expected from December to February.
Indian Railways has announced the cancellation of 26 round‑trip services of the Howrah‑Dehradun Express, citing dense fog that is expected to affect operations across the route.
The decision comes as meteorological reports predict persistent fog from the foothills of the Himalayas, posing visibility and safety risks for train movements.
Passengers who had booked tickets for the cancelled runs are advised to check the official railway website or app for alternative trains and refund options.
Railway officials say a revised timetable will be released in December, with the train resuming its full schedule from February onward.
