Gas Cylinder Explodes During Delivery in Bengaluru's Malleshwaram, Video Goes Viral

A delivery driver was transporting a gas cylinder to a residence in Malleshwaram, a neighbourhood of Bengaluru, when the cylinder ignited and burst into flames. The incident was captured on video and quickly spread across social media platforms.

The footage shows the cylinder catching fire near the doorstep, where a diya (oil lamp) was placed. Many viewers have pointed out that the proximity of the lit lamp could have been the trigger for the explosion.

So far, neither the local police nor the fire department has released an official statement regarding the cause of the fire or any injuries sustained. Residents in the area have expressed concern over safety protocols for gas deliveries.

The incident has prompted discussions about the need for stricter safety measures during the handling and delivery of gas cylinders, especially in densely populated neighbourhoods.
