Mohan Sharma allegedly killed former Tech Mahindra regional head Paramjeet Dhankar and attempted to kill his son following a heated dispute over vehicle parking.
A violent altercation in a residential neighborhood turned fatal when Mohan Sharma allegedly shot and killed his neighbor, Paramjeet Dhankar, a former regional head at Tech Mahindra. The incident occurred shortly after Dhankar returned from Singapore to attend a family wedding, marking a tragic end to his brief homecoming.
The shooting was reportedly triggered by a long-standing dispute over vehicle parking between the two families. According to reports, tensions had escalated significantly in the days leading up to the incident, with repeated arguments occurring just eight days prior regarding parking spots and a pet dog.
Following the fatal shot, the suspect allegedly attempted to kill Dhankar's son as well. The victim's family had previously reported the ongoing tensions and threats from Sharma's family, indicating that the conflict had been simmering for some time before reaching this violent climax.
Police have taken custody of the suspect, and an investigation is underway to determine the full extent of the premeditation and the background of the feud between the neighbors.
