Metal traders in Madhya Pradesh reported a significant surge in sales on Dhanteras, attributing the rush to the day's auspiciousness for all zodiac signs.
Dhanteras witnessed a substantial increase in the purchase of metal items across markets in Madhya Pradesh. The festive day saw a heavy rush of buyers, leading to a vibrant trading environment where local businesses benefited significantly from the heightened consumer activity.
Ramvarma, Secretary of the Bartaan Bazaar Association, highlighted the exceptional turnout at the shops. He noted that while metal purchases are traditionally influenced by specific zodiac signs, Dhanteras is considered particularly auspicious for everyone. This universal significance led to a diverse crowd of buyers, regardless of their astrological profiles, flocking to purchase metal goods.
The surge in footfall has left traders highly satisfied with the day's performance. The association's secretary emphasized that the day's perceived spiritual merit drove the demand, making it a profitable period for the local metal trade sector. The enthusiasm displayed by both buyers and sellers underscored the cultural and economic importance of the festival in the region.
