Delhi-NCR has implemented the strictest air quality curbs, known as Grap 3, due to persistent 'very poor' air quality.

The National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi has been grappling with severe air pollution, forcing authorities to implement the most stringent air quality measures under the Graded Response Action Plan (Grap). This means a complete ban on construction and demolition activities, as well as a significant reduction in vehicular traffic. Schools and colleges have also been advised to shift to online classes.    The air quality index (AQI) in Delhi and surrounding areas has remained in the 'very poor' category for several days, posing a serious health risk to residents. The government has urged citizens to avoid outdoor activities and wear masks when venturing out.
