The Andhra Pradesh State Energy Conservation Mission (AP-SECM) has announced a state-level short video contest aimed at promoting energy conservation awareness among school students. The initiative is designed to engage young minds in creating content that highlights practical ways to save energy.
The competition is open to students studying in Classes 7 through 10 across all government, aided, and private schools in the state. Participants are required to submit videos that are between 30 seconds and two minutes in duration. To ensure inclusivity and reach, the mission has allowed entries in three languages: Telugu, English, and Hindi.
This move reflects the state's broader effort to integrate environmental and energy efficiency education into the school curriculum. By leveraging the digital creativity of students, the mission seeks to spread the message of sustainable energy use across the state.
