WSC Awarded Centre of Excellence in Skills Development

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has officially designated the West Bengal State Council (WSC) as a Centre of Excellence in Skills Development. This recognition is part of the government’s effort to strengthen skill training infrastructure across the country. As a Centre of Excellence, WSC will receive priority access to funding, advanced training modules, and collaboration opportunities with industry partners. The designation is expected to enhance the quality of vocational education offered by the council and attract more students to skill development programmes.
