Hari Boxer, accused of running a weapons and drug smuggling network for the Lawrence Bison and Rohit Gohara gangs, was detained in the United States following a tip from Rajasthan police. Indian authorities are preparing to bring him back to India.
Hari Boxer, a key figure in the Lawrence Bison and Rohit Gohara gangs, was arrested in the United States on charges of facilitating weapons and drug smuggling operations for the groups.
The arrest followed a tip from Rajasthan police, who had been tracking the gangster’s overseas activities. Intelligence indicated that Boxer was acting as a conduit for the gangs’ international supply chain.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) acted on the information and detained Boxer in a federal facility. Officials confirmed that the arrest was part of a broader effort to disrupt transnational criminal networks.
Indian authorities are now preparing for his extradition. The Home Ministry has requested the U.S. to expedite the process, and legal teams are working to ensure a smooth transfer back to India for prosecution.
