A 70-year-old woman named Kamala Devi Kanakaria was murdered in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. Police have arrested her neighbor, Ravi Tapaddia, and his accomplice, Hira Sindhi, in connection with the crime. The motive behind the murder appears to be the theft of jewelry worth ₹23 lakh that belonged to the victim. The accused allegedly disposed of her body by burning it and throwing the remains into a river.
