Mohan Sharma is accused of shooting his neighbour Paramjeet Dhankar 15 times after a parking dispute, while Dhankar’s son hid behind parked cars.
A shooting incident unfolded when Mohan Sharma allegedly opened fire on his neighbour Paramjeet Dhankar, discharging fifteen rounds after a heated argument over vehicle parking. The confrontation took place shortly after Dhankar returned from Singapore to attend a family wedding.
Family sources said that tensions between the two households had been simmering for weeks, with both sides reporting repeated disputes eight days earlier over parking spaces and a pet dog.
According to eyewitnesses, Dhankar’s son sought cover behind a line of parked cars as the gunshots rang out, while Sharma, identified as a technology executive, fled the scene.
Local police have opened a murder investigation, registering Sharma as the prime suspect and questioning neighbours about the sequence of events. The case highlights growing concerns over private parking conflicts in residential areas.
