Schools across India will remain closed on November 5 due to Diwali celebrations and adverse weather conditions in several states.
Educational institutions across India are observing a holiday on November 5, marking a significant pause in the academic calendar. The closure is primarily driven by the upcoming Diwali festival, which is widely celebrated across the nation.
In addition to the festive occasion, several states have announced school closures due to severe weather alerts. These meteorological warnings have prompted local administrations to prioritize student safety by keeping schools shut for the day.
Parents and students are advised to verify the specific holiday status for their respective regions, as the combination of Diwali vacations and weather-related suspensions varies by state. Authorities have urged the public to stay updated with local news channels for any changes in the schedule.
