In the latest round of Rajasthan's NEET Special Stray Counselling for 2026, 157 MBBS and BDS seats across state medical colleges remain unfilled, prompting concerns among prospective students.
The Rajasthan government’s NEET Special Stray Round 2026 concluded with a significant number of seats still unfilled. 157 MBBS and BDS positions across state medical colleges were reported as vacant after the counselling session.
The unfilled seats highlight the intense competition among candidates, as the state’s medical institutions attract a large number of aspirants each year. Officials have indicated that the remaining vacancies could be filled in subsequent rounds or through a separate allocation process.
Students who missed out are advised to keep a close watch on the official Rajasthan Medical Education Board website for any updates or additional counselling dates. The board has also urged candidates to prepare for possible re‑entries in the next cycle.
The situation underscores the need for transparent seat allocation and timely communication to ensure that deserving candidates are not left waiting for opportunities to pursue medical education in Rajasthan.
