The Rajasthan High Court declined to lift the freeze on bank accounts involved in a cyber fraud investigation, rejecting claims for immediate release and compensation.

The Rajasthan High Court in Jodhpur has refused to unfreeze bank accounts that were frozen during a cyber fraud investigation.

Business owners who had filed claims for the release of their accounts and a compensation of ₹6 lakh were told that the court would not comply with their requests.

The court cited procedural requirements and the need for a thorough investigation before any relief can be granted.

It also directed the parties to follow the formal complaint process as outlined by the cybercrime authorities.

The decision comes amid growing concerns over digital fraud cases affecting traders across the state.
