Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi posted a video urging Amit Shah to stop confusing the Prime Minister and to convince Narendra Modi to engage in a SIR debate.
Rahul Gandhi, senior leader of the Congress party, uploaded a short video on social media in which he addressed Amit Shah, the Home Minister and senior BJP figure. In the clip, Gandhi asked Shah to cease any attempts that might confuse Prime Minister Narendra Modi and to persuade the PM to take part in a SIR (Strategic Issues Review) debate.
The remarks came amid heightened political tension ahead of upcoming parliamentary sessions, with the opposition seeking greater accountability on national security and policy matters. Gandhi emphasized that a direct dialogue between the Prime Minister and opposition leaders would benefit democratic discourse.
No immediate response has been recorded from Amit Shah or the BJP hierarchy. Analysts note that the exchange underscores the continuing contest for narrative control between the two major parties as the election cycle approaches.
