Pune Rural police have taken a suspect into custody for allegedly killing his neighbour and the neighbour's wife following a disagreement over cattle grazing rights.
Pune Rural police announced the arrest of a man accused of murdering his neighbour and the neighbour's wife. The alleged killings are linked to a long‑standing dispute over the grazing of cattle on shared land. Investigators say the conflict escalated, leading the suspect to commit the homicides.
The suspect was apprehended after a thorough investigation that included statements from local residents and forensic analysis of the crime scene. Police have recovered evidence that ties the accused to the murders, and the case is now being forwarded to the district court for trial.
Authorities have urged the community to resolve agricultural and grazing issues through legal channels to prevent similar tragedies. The investigation remains ongoing, and further details will be released as the case progresses.
