Pune police have arrested a man for allegedly murdering his friend following a dispute over alcohol. The accused reportedly dismembered the victim's body and disposed of the parts.
A shocking murder case has emerged in Pune, where a man identified as Pintya Kumbhar is accused of killing his friend, Anil Khade. The alleged motive behind the brutal act was a dispute related to alcohol consumption.
Authorities report that Khade was initially attacked with a baseball bat. Following the fatal assault, Kumbhar is alleged to have used a billhook to sever the victim's legs. The dismembered limbs were then reportedly placed in a gunny sack and discarded near a garbage heap.
Investigators were led to Khade's torso, found within Kumbhar's residence, by tracing a discarded SIM card tray. The police investigation has uncovered the nature of the friendship between the accused and the victim, as well as the specific point of contention that led to the fatal confrontation.
