Police Capture Two Shooters in Gurudwara Mandi Sahib Shooting Incident

Ludhiana rural police arrested two men from Gurudaspur after a shooting at Gurudwara Mandi Sahib in Rajpura Kalan, where the main caretaker’s room was targeted.
Recently, a shooting took place at Gurudwara Mandi Sahib in Rajpura Kalan, Punjab, when gunfire was directed at the room of the main caretaker, Sant Baba Baldev Singh. The incident caused alarm among the congregation and prompted an immediate response from local authorities.
Ludhiana rural police quickly mobilised a task force and traced the attackers to Gurudaspur. Two men were apprehended after a brief pursuit and brought into custody for questioning.
Investigators revealed that the shooters had planned a murder over a dispute concerning the provision of "rangdari," a traditional colouring or decoration service. The refusal to grant this service was cited as the motive behind the planned attack.
The police have secured the site and are continuing their investigation to determine whether additional suspects are involved. The incident has raised concerns about security at religious sites in the region.
