A fraud case has emerged in Patna where individuals operating under the name of Shikha Micro Benefit Finance Pvt Ltd allegedly collected Rs 15 lakh and fled, leaving hundreds of victims.
A significant financial fraud case has come to light in the Malahi area of Patna district, Bihar. The incident involves individuals allegedly operating under the banner of 'Shikha Micro Benefit Finance Private Limited'.
According to the report, the accused collected a total of Rs 15 lakh from victims. Following the collection of funds, the accused reportedly closed their office and absconded, leaving the complainants with no recourse.
The fraud has affected hundreds of people in the region, who fell prey to the scheme. The incident has been reported to the local authorities in the Baadh police station jurisdiction.
Police are currently investigating the matter to trace the whereabouts of the accused and recover the misappropriated funds.
