Netanyahu Faces Confidence Vote: Eisenkot Wins 67-46 in Knesset

The Israeli Knesset held a confidence vote that directly challenged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's administration. Yair Eisenkot, a prominent opposition figure, received 67 votes, while Netanyahu garnered 46. The result signals a significant shift in parliamentary support and raises questions about the stability of Netanyahu's coalition. Analysts note that the outcome could force a government reshuffle or trigger early elections. The next steps for Netanyahu will involve addressing the confidence gap and negotiating with potential allies to secure a majority.
