Majid Khan, 50, allegedly strangled his wife Tabassum Khan in Nalasopara West due to suspicions about her tuition classes. He later jumped in front of a moving train at Grant Road station.

A tragic incident occurred in Nalasopara West, Mumbai, where a 50-year-old man allegedly murdered his wife before attempting suicide. Majid Khan is accused of strangling his wife, Tabassum Khan, 41, following a domestic dispute. The argument reportedly stemmed from Majid's suspicions regarding his wife's character, triggered by her involvement in teaching tuition classes.

The incident took place at their residence in Takipada around 5:00 AM. After the alleged murder, Majid Khan left the home. He did not return to the scene but instead traveled to Grant Road railway station later that afternoon.

At Grant Road, Majid Khan jumped in front of a moving train, ending his life. The dual tragedy has left the local community in shock. Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder and subsequent suicide.
