Minimum temperatures have fallen below 14°C in 14 cities across Madhya Pradesh, with Indore recording colder conditions than Pachmarhi. Meteorologists predict a significant drop in temperature starting November 10 due to western disturbances.
A sharp increase in winter conditions has been observed across Madhya Pradesh, with meteorological data indicating a significant drop in nighttime temperatures. In 14 major cities across the state, the minimum temperature was recorded below 14 degrees Celsius, marking a notable shift in the seasonal weather pattern.
Indoor residents noted unusual cold conditions, with Indore recording a minimum temperature lower than that of the hill station Pachmarhi. This inversion highlights the intensity of the cold wave currently affecting the Malwa region and other parts of the state.
According to weather forecasts, the cold is expected to intensify from November 10. The onset of western disturbances will be followed by the arrival of northern winds, which are projected to further lower the mercury in the coming days.
Despite the rising chill, authorities have confirmed that the weather will remain clear during the Diwali festival, allowing residents to celebrate without disruption from rain or fog.
