Madhya Pradesh STF has cancelled 31 passports issued to Bangladeshi nationals using fake Indian identities. Over 100 suspects have been identified in this fraud network.
The Special Task Force (STF) in Madhya Pradesh has taken decisive action against a network involved in issuing passports to Bangladeshi nationals using fraudulent Indian identities. Authorities have officially cancelled 31 such passports that were procured through this illegal channel.
The investigation revealed that a significant portion of these documents originated from the Dabra region, with 17 of the cancelled passports reportedly issued from there. This highlights the specific geographic hub used by the syndicate to process these fraudulent applications.
STF officials have identified over 100 individuals involved in this operation. The crackdown is part of a broader effort to tighten border security and prevent illegal immigration by dismantling the infrastructure that facilitates fake documentation.
The cancellation of these passports aims to revoke the legal status granted to these individuals under false pretenses. The identified suspects are now under scrutiny, and further legal actions are being pursued to bring the masterminds of this fraud to justice.
