The Madhya Pradesh government announced the creation of a separate corporation to boost the MSME sector and will provide a grant of Rs 5 million per hectare to private industrial parks.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister unveiled a plan to establish a dedicated corporation focused on the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The new entity will coordinate policy, funding and infrastructure support to accelerate growth in the sector.

As part of the initiative, the state will offer a grant of Rs 5 million per hectare to private investors setting up industrial parks. The subsidy aims to attract capital, create jobs and expand manufacturing capacity across the state.

The government also pledged to make industrial land available in all districts within two months, signaling a rapid rollout of the scheme. Officials said the measures are intended to position Madhya Pradesh as a leading hub for MSME activity in central India.

Stakeholders, including industry bodies and potential investors, have been invited to submit proposals under the new framework. The administration expects the first batch of projects to commence by the end of the year.
