Following the Special Intensive Revision, Karnataka's voter count has decreased by nearly 1 crore. The majority of removed voters were identified as permanently shifted.

The recent Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Karnataka has resulted in a significant decrease in the state's voter count. The initial figure stood at 5.5 crore, which has now reduced by approximately 99.76 lakh. Among those removed, a large number, 65.45 lakh, were identified as having permanently shifted out of the state. 86.56 lakh voters from the 20-29 age group were also removed.
