Jaipur Sets Auspicious Time for Lakshmi-Ganesha Puja on Diwali

The city of Jaipur will observe a special puja window for Lakshmi and Ganesha on Diwali, beginning at 6:03 PM and ending at 7:59 PM. This period falls within the प्रदोष काल, a time considered inauspicious for many rituals, but deemed suitable for the Lakshmi-Ganesha ceremony. The puja will also be performed under the Vṛṣabh sthir lagna, a fixed zodiacal position that astrologers believe enhances the auspiciousness of the rites. As the evening unfolds, homes, markets and businesses across Jaipur will illuminate with diyas and electric lights, turning the city into a radiant tapestry of celebration.
