Indore Cyber Crime Branch has recovered Rs 6.79 crore from victims and blocked over 10,000 fraudulent bank accounts in the first ten months of the year.

The Indore Cyber Crime Branch has reported significant success in combating online fraud over the past ten months. Authorities have managed to recover a total of Rs 6.79 crore from victims of cyber scams.

In addition to financial recovery, the police have taken decisive action against the infrastructure used for these crimes. More than 10,000 fake bank accounts have been identified and blocked to prevent further misuse.

The branch also secured the closure of 450 social media accounts that were actively involved in fraudulent activities. These measures aim to disrupt the networks used by cybercriminals to target residents.

The Indore police continue to monitor digital platforms closely to ensure the safety of citizens' financial assets and personal data.
