Indore police arrested four drug traffickers, seizing 28.85 grams of MD drugs from a Creta car. The suspects are linked to a narcotics network spanning Gujarat and Mumbai.
Indore police have cracked down on a drug trafficking network operating in the city, resulting in the arrest of four individuals. The operation was led by the Chhatrapur police, who seized 28.85 grams of MD drugs from a Hyundai Creta vehicle.
The investigation revealed that the arrested suspects were not merely local dealers but were part of a larger syndicate with connections extending to Gujarat and Mumbai. This indicates a well-organized chain for the supply of narcotics into Madhya Pradesh.
In a coordinated effort, the Crime Branch and Khajrana police also participated in the crackdown, apprehending additional offenders in possession of drugs. The authorities are now tracing the full extent of the network to dismantle the supply chain.
The case highlights the persistent challenge of drug trafficking in the region, with police emphasizing that the arrests are part of a broader initiative to curb the illicit drug trade in Indore and surrounding areas.
