The Indore High Court bench has imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000 on the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Mahu for failing to provide a valid legal basis for a stay order in a land dispute and for not adhering to court directives on time.

The Indore High Court bench penalized the Mahu SDO for his failure to comply with court orders and provide a valid legal justification for a stay order issued in a land dispute. The court found the SDO's actions to be in direct violation of its directives and deemed them disrespectful. The SDO has been given seven days to pay the imposed fine of Rs. 50,000.
