According to a recent analysis by The Caravan, India‑China relations are now being shaped entirely on Beijing’s terms.
The report argues that China’s growing economic clout and strategic initiatives have shifted the balance of power in its favor.
Over the past few years, a series of border standoffs, trade disputes and diplomatic engagements have reinforced China’s leverage in negotiations with New Delhi.
While India continues to pursue a more assertive foreign policy, the analysis suggests that Beijing’s influence is increasingly decisive in determining the trajectory of bilateral ties.
