Goa Cardinal Calls on Pallottines to Strengthen Pastoral Formation

The cardinal of Goa addressed members of the Pallottine order, urging them to intensify their pastoral formation initiatives. In a statement released by the archdiocese, he emphasized the need for deeper theological education and practical ministry skills among the order’s clergy and lay associates.
The Pallottines, a Catholic religious congregation known for their missionary work, have a significant presence in Goa and surrounding regions. The cardinal’s appeal comes amid a broader ecclesiastical push to renew pastoral outreach and respond to contemporary spiritual needs.
By strengthening formation programs, the cardinal hopes the Pallottines will better equip their members to serve local communities, foster spiritual growth, and address evolving pastoral challenges.
