Relatives of a missing man from Bihar held a funeral procession for him after four years, believing him to be dead. The family performed the rituals with a effigy and a DJ.

In a poignant ceremony in Bihar, the family of Shankar Saw, a 65-year-old resident of Sikandara village, held a funeral procession for him. Saw had been missing for four years following the devastating floods that ravaged the region. The family, believing him to be deceased, constructed a symbolic effigy and performed the final rites. They brought the effigy to the Umanath Sati Sthan Ghat, accompanied by a DJ and traditional rituals. The family also prepared for a mourning feast, marking the end of their long wait for closure.
