Former MP CM Digvijay Singh stated that Hindutva fosters hatred, contrasting it with Sanatan Dharma which promotes global unity.
Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has once again directed sharp criticism towards the ideology of Hindutva. Speaking at the Sanyasanatan Swabhiman Yatra in Raighar, he asserted that this political ideology has the potential to fill people's hearts and minds with hatred.
Singh contrasted this view with the teachings of Sanatan Dharma, describing it as a universal message that regards the entire world as a single family. He emphasized the importance of distancing oneself from divisive political narratives in favor of traditional values of unity.
The remarks were made during a public event focused on cultural and religious identity, where the former chief minister addressed a large gathering. His comments reflect his long-standing political stance on communal harmony and the role of religion in public life.
The statement is expected to draw reactions from various political quarters, given the sensitive nature of the topic in current Indian discourse.
