Delhi Police Crack Down on Fake 20‑Rupee Coin Scam, Arrest Four

Delhi Police on a recent operation dismantled a scheme involving counterfeit 20‑rupee coins that were being circulated in the city. The raid, carried out by the Anti‑Fraud Unit in collaboration with the Central Bureau of Investigation, seized a large stock of fake coins and the equipment used to produce them. Four individuals were arrested on charges of counterfeiting and conspiracy to defraud the public. Police officials said the investigation revealed that the counterfeit coins were being sold to unsuspecting consumers and that the operation had been active for several months. The arrested suspects are now in custody and are expected to face trial.
