Medical graduates in Delhi are waiting for the scheduled DNB counselling that will allocate postgraduate training seats.
Delhi's pool of medical graduates has been reported to be awaiting the upcoming DNB (Diplomate of National Board) counselling, which determines allocation of postgraduate training seats. The counselling process, overseen by the National Board of Examinations, is expected to be announced shortly, prompting doctors to prepare their documentation and preferences.
According to reports from Amar Ujala, the anticipation is high among candidates who have cleared the qualifying examinations and are now dependent on the counselling schedule to secure their specialty placements. The delay in announcing the counselling dates has led many to seek clarification from the board and relevant authorities.
Stakeholders, including medical colleges and training hospitals in Delhi, are preparing to accommodate the influx of candidates once the counselling concludes. The outcome will influence the distribution of DNB seats across various specialties, impacting the career trajectories of the awaiting doctors.
