The Delhi Crime Branch has questioned leaders of the CJP, according to a Rediff report.
The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police has conducted a series of interrogations of senior members of the CJP, a political outfit, as part of an ongoing investigation. The questioning took place at the Crime Branch headquarters in Delhi, where officials sought clarification on matters under review.
Rediff reported that the leaders were summoned for formal grilling, but did not disclose the specific allegations or the context of the inquiry. Police spokespersons declined to comment on the details, citing procedural confidentiality.
The move underscores the Crime Branch's routine practice of probing political figures when there are potential links to criminal activity. No further information on outcomes or subsequent actions has been released.
Authorities are expected to file a formal report once the investigation progresses, and the public will be informed through official channels as appropriate.
