Cyclone Murasu Looms Over Andhra; Red Alert Issued for Five Districts

Andhra Pradesh is facing a renewed threat from Cyclone Murasu, which has intensified anxiety among residents and authorities following the recent impact of Cyclone Arnab. The new cyclonic system has prompted the state administration to heighten its vigilance across coastal and vulnerable regions.

In response to the developing weather situation, a red alert has been officially sounded in five districts of the state. This high-level warning indicates that severe weather conditions are expected, necessitating immediate precautionary measures by local administration and disaster management teams.

The sequence of two cyclones in a short span has placed significant strain on the state's disaster response mechanisms. Officials are closely monitoring the path and intensity of Murasu to ensure timely evacuation and relief operations where necessary.

Residents in the affected districts have been advised to stay indoors and follow official instructions. The state government is coordinating with central agencies to ensure that all necessary resources are deployed to mitigate the potential impact of the cyclone.
