Bilaspur Police Arrest Key Heroin Supplier from Amritsar

Police in Bilaspur, Madhya Pradesh, carried out a major operation targeting an inter‑state heroin trafficking network and arrested the chief supplier operating from Amritsar. The arrest comes after a separate raid in Usalapur, where authorities seized 11.73 grams of heroin from an accused individual. Bilaspur police said the suspect was a key link in the supply chain, facilitating the movement of the drug from Punjab to central India. The operation was part of a broader crackdown on drug smuggling in the region. Officials confirmed that further investigations are underway to dismantle the remaining network.
