Candidates listed in the merit list for Class 3 primary teachers in Bhopal have blocked roads, lying down and clanging plates to demand appointment letters and postings.
Protests erupted in Bhopal as candidates who made the merit list for Class 3 primary teacher positions launched a chakka jam to press for their appointment letters and official postings. The demonstrators, demanding immediate resolution of their employment status, disrupted local traffic by lying on the road and clanging plates while raising slogans.
The protest led to a confrontation with the police, resulting in a minor scuffle as authorities attempted to manage the situation and clear the blocked route. The incident has highlighted the ongoing tension between the candidates and the administration regarding the delay in formalizing their appointments despite their inclusion in the merit list.
Local authorities are currently dealing with the aftermath of the disruption, while the candidates continue to insist that their right to appointment and posting be honored without further delay.
