Two men in Bengaluru attacked Assamese restaurant staff after they complained about the noodles being too spicy. Police have taken the case under investigation.

A pair of men entered a popular noodle stall in Bengaluru on Thursday evening and, after ordering, demanded a milder spice level. When the staff refused to alter the dish, the men allegedly struck the Assamese workers, causing injuries that required medical attention.

The incident was reported to the local police, who arrived at the scene within minutes. Witnesses say the attackers were shouting and using abusive language before physically assaulting the staff.

Bengaluru Police have filed a complaint under the Indian Penal Code, and the case is now under investigation. The restaurant has issued a statement condemning the violence and assuring customers of their safety.

The assault has sparked discussions on workplace safety and cultural sensitivity in Bengaluru’s diverse culinary scene.
